Engie and Balfour Beatty were part of a consortium bidding for the 344 bed Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary NPD Hospital project
They contacted us to assist them in providing Whole Life Costing bid support and a fully integrated Lifecycle Cost Model that could be submitted with their bid and used as a future operational model in the event that the bid we’re successful.
Due to experience of bidding with both Engie (the Cofely) and Balfour Beatty, we were able to fit into the bid team with short notice and able to deliver compliant, competitive and risk checked lifecycle cost proposals within the required timeframe, budget and management risk appetite. We were able to do this with considerable flexibility and value compared to our closest competitors due to our robust yet pragmatic approach to bid modelling in the PFI/PPP sector.
After submission of this project, we were again contracted to assist Engie on a number of operational projects in the Schools and Leisure sectors, including carrying out condition surveys and producing full operational lifecycle models.
