We provided the LP, for them to submit to the authority, a comprehensive report providing real insight into the availability of existing funds in the lifecycle sinking fund and the actual requirement of expenditure over the lifetime of the 25-year project.
Given the success of the initial project which provided crucial evidence used for the outcome of the authorities decision, we were again contracted by LP to assist on a number of Police PFI projects. Our role was to provide condition surveys and detailed reports, taking into consideration the contractual obligations of the private sector contractors, in order to assess any negligence on the contractors part and ensure that the appropriate steps were taken to maintain the affected buildings to the required standards, taking into account expected lifecycle replacement profiles set out in the initial contract, handback obligations and industry standards
